Kozhikode: Stating that a section of the media of being overenthusiastic to corner the party in the TP murder case, CPM State secretariat member Elamaram Kareem accused the media of propagating false news using the script of the police.

“Media is responsible to protect the rights and self respect of the public. But, they are unitedly indulging in a concerted attack on the party,” Kareem said.

“We are saying the media not to publish without verifying any information. We are not against the media freedom,” he said.

“The police provide the news to the media after they decide it in advance”, he added.
