Malappuram twin murder: Case registered against PK Basheer MLA

Malappuram: Police booked a case against Eranadu MLA PK Basheer in relation to the twin murder at Kuniyil Areekodu on Sunday. The case was booked as per the complaint filed by the relatives of those who were killed.
Two murder accused, who received stab injuries at Kunniyil Nadupatt in Malappuram district on Sunday night, succumbed to their injuries. Kolakadan Azad and Kolakadan Abubaker, accused in the Adhiquburahman murder case, received stab injuries and both of them were rushed to a hospital after the incident. They succumbed to their injuries in the hospital Sunday midnight.
Earlier, at a function to give financial support to the family of Adhiqurahman, it was alleged that PK Basheer MLA spoke provocatively asking his supporters to handle the accused who killed Rahman. The complaint also alleged that the MLA might be involved in the murder.
