Dileep, Swetha bag State film awards

Thiruvananthapuram: ‘Indian Rupee’ directed by Ranjith bagged the best film honour in the State film awards for 2012 announced here on Thursday.
Dileep has been adjudged the best actor for his outstanding role in ‘Vellaripravinte Changathi’ and Swetha Menon as the best actress for her distinct roles in ‘Salt N Pepper.’ Blessy has been selected as the best director for his film, ‘Pranayam’.
Ivan Megharoopan, directed by P Balachandran has been chosen the second best film. Fahad Fasil has been chosen as the second best actor for his role in ‘Chappakurishu’ and ‘Akam’. Nilmabur Ayisha has been adjudged the second best actress for her performance in ‘Oomakkuzhilpadumbol.’ ‘Salt N Pepper’, directed by Ashiq Abu is the popular film. Malavika Nair has been selected as the best child artiste (Oomakkuzhil Padumbol).
