Case booked against P K Sreemathi, M V Jayarajan

Kannur: Police booked a case against CPM leaders P K Sreemathi and M V Jayarajan for conducting a police station march violating the prohibitary orders. Apart from these two leaders, cases were booked against the 250 activists who took part in the march by the Kannur Town police.
The CPM march was held on Wednesday evening to condemn the arrest of P Jayarajan in the Shukoor murder case. On Wednesday afternoon itself, prohibitary orders were clamped in the district and the SP office march was held after this.
