Thiruvananthapuram: CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan said that CPM is not a party which will be devasted by jailing its leaders in fake cases.

The party will hold protests against Jayarajan’s arrest. Pinarayi wanted all democratic outfits to suport its cause.
In Kerala, what is happenning is not mere police actions. Chief minister Oomen Chandy is creating fake cases and home minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan implements it. But all these will not deter the CPM and this should be born in mind by the chief minister, Pinarayi said.

The govt along with the police and right wing media are joining together to attack the Left.
Opposition leader V S Achuthanandhan termed the arrest of P Jayarajan as partial. The arrest is not legal. A strong protest should be advocated against this.

In the Nalpadi Vasu murder case and in the statement given by K Sudhakaran, accused in the Savoury hotel case, that a conspiracy was held to murder E P Jayarajan, no action was taken, VS alleged.

VS also added that there has been no action from the part of the police against P K Basheer.
