Neliyampathy: MLAs submit report

Kochi: The MLA team which visited Neliyampathy to check facts on land encroachment submitted the report to the UDF sub committee on Sunday. The MLA team led by V D Satheesan and T N Prathapan submitted the report to the panel appointed for the purpose. As M M Hassan resigned from the sub committee, the MLAs submitted the report to Rajan Babu, who was given charge of the commitee.

The report makes it clear that in Neliyampathy there was violation of title deeds and also wanted the govt to take over the lands for which the title deeds had expired. Minister Ganesh Kumar’s demand for a CBI probe was also backed by the MLAs. Also the report states that the govt had taken the right stand on Neliyampathy.
