Kochi:S.Jayachandran Nair ,Founder Editor of Samakalika Malayalam weekly, a NewIndianExpress Publication had resigned.He handed over his resignation yesterday to the Express management.It is heard that inspite of his repeated request to increase the salary increment of the employers of the SamakalikaMalayalam weekly management so far hasn’t taken any action.This had forced him to resign.But on the other hand there is a rumour that there was a rift between the Vetran Editor and the Express management over theĀ controversialĀ Prabavarma poetry issue.After the murder of T.P Chandrasekharan, Jayachandran Nair had stoppedĀ publishing theserial poetry as it is supporting the political murder.It is also heard the the Express management has approached India Today Associate Editor Radhakrishnan M.G,son of P.Govinda Pillai to be the Editor of the Samakalika Malayalam
